Track Link
- Improved design of the track joints for lubrication retention. Robust components design to avoid breakage and cracking. Components engineered for highimpact applications.
- New SEAL GROUPS have been engineered in order to meet he highest quality standards and performin Heavy-duty applications. The shape of the seals and the material composition guarantee the best oil retention and lubrication between pin and bushing.
- The new SYNTHETIC OIL used for new KSS chain is in accordance with API Service Classification GL5. The high viscosity index and additional extreme pressure characteristics of the synthetic oil guarantee working conditions with temperature ranging from -35 C to +50 C.
- New KSS LOCK RING (PPR) provides a mechanical lock between the pinand the linkin order to reduce the end-play movements and to control seal compression which enhances working conditions and wear life of pins and bushings.
- The new KSS CARBURIZED BUSHING case depth has been consistently increased in order to ensure maximum wear life.
Idler
KSS Idlers always support strongly all tracks to drive smoothly, which are made by the best steel casting and the special heat treatment. The round grith of Idlers have high hardness of HRC 45-55 that long life can be guaranteed.
Specialized machining and heat treatment proceses enable us to offer a wide range of quality Idlers, or we can use our extensive knowlegde to create special products to meet customers own requirements.

Heat Treatment Carbon Steel Shaft
All KSS shafts are machined with great accuracy. The advance technique applied is call the “drop forged”. This has a great advantage as the shafts are embedded into the bushings. The contribution of the special heat-treatment technology has imputed in inducing the hardening surface that prolong the life span of the bushings.
Steel Back Bushing
All KSS rollers use the steel back Bi-metal bushing specifically designed, engineered and produced to ensure stability reliability.
Special Casting Seal
All KSS rollers are equipped with the special floating seals. The steel ring are made of coated alloy with lapped mating surface, then heat treated. Chemically treated with high percentage of chromium and molybdenum that will prolong the rollers from oxidation and corrosion. The rubber content is make of Buna-N that is persistent to constant compression. They are able to with stand cold temperature from -40°C to 170°C.
Sprocket & Segment

With the special alloy steel and the special heat treatment, KSS Sprocket and Segment tooth have the depth of uniform hardness up to 7mm. Therefore, KSS Sprocket and Segment have a high resistance to fatique and also guarantee a long service life.

High Technology Friction Welded Shell Roller
All KSS roller shell are forged using high quality boron steel. Enhanced with special induction heating equipment, the shell is re-hardened to the highest level of hardness for internal stress on the treated materials.
The two halves of the roller shelves are friction welded in accordance with different techniques while maintaining the same quality levels. The final result has proven that all KSS roller will have a higher resistance to any force even during the long working hours and climatic conditions.
